Air Gear

Last Updated: Jun 09, 2010

10.00 (excellent) And so I'd like to start off with a simple fact. If you've ever read the manga 'Airgear' by the Oh!Great sama of the kingdom of all ultimate awesome manga and especially the ones you've never heard of, now's your chance. Let's start off with a little ground first.
Airgear is basically about some kid named Ikki, and how he's brought into the active sport of Air Trekking, where you use jet powered roller blades which you can do some various and awesome stunts with. The sheer amount of stunts is not too much, which is great because then you get to remember some reminiscient awesome stuff like 23 Roll grind, which also has shown up in the battle against Buccha, that one fat foo that used to love ramen and all the chicks love *aww you remember the beginning don't you?* Anyway, it rather sounds as cliche or clichette, whatever, at all! In fact, it is wonderfully set as most of the story somewhat foreshadows some of the later in it, but not so much that it's completely predictable. Whether you've read it from them beginning like the aged veteran you're supposed to, or the newbie also reading about his first time jamming with Air Trecks, Airgear the manga receives a 10/10, simply because of how awesome it is. Don't you think Emily Adachi is hot? Don't you think it's crazy that she's the *p_______t*? Don't you want her to fall in love with super hawt and uber lazy kazu? All the characters are very colorful, and it's so wonderfully illustrated that I wish to give it an emmy just for the screenplay of turning black and white pages. You've got a fat guy, you've got an eyepatched [strikeout]dyslexian[/strikeout] (OMG HES GONNA KILL ME!) super cool dude, you've got a super buff guy, you got your crazy dude with a black crow as his sidekick, you've got this hot chick with pink hair, you got this other hot chick which is a great mechanic and super uber awesome ikki's love interest which is pretty cool because Kururu is so awesomely sexy and likeable, you've got that sis with the rebellious sour apple demeanor and rivalry thing going on, and then you got spitfire WHO DIES OMG OMG *SADFACE* JUST LIKE AERITH IN FF7 *cries*, and a whole bunch of other cast and crew and ATers.
ATs are just awesome to begin with. Period.
Now for the anime. Only 1 season? Well let's review that only one season. Though I hope for another season.
Airgear in it's anime form does, actually stick up to it's manga counterpart in it's beginning to the end. It covers a good several amount of mangas illustrated by the Oh!Great Sama. Did I also mention the OP is super deliciously awesome? Yeah, go search it. It's called CHAIN - BACKON. That OP is godly, I swear to the *SLAP* whoops I'm sorry I'm buddhist. Anyway, just search it on google. It'll be the best 5 minutes of your life if you haven't done it yet. Yes, do it right now. Before I get your email and nab you with a ton of requests to play Hello Kitty Online with your girlfriends. *cough*
The anime introduces itself quite well. It's lovely in how it precisely coordinates the manga. Ok, rarely some stuff is ever cut, and that's the filler part. Even the filler is exciting for mine own sake. The battles are the best part. You'll watch Ikki find his love in AT, Kazu also finding his love in AT, Emily Adachi find her love in [strikeout]Kazu[/strikeout]AT with the power of love, Akito and Big Man Buccha kicking it off in new styles, Yayoi standing in the background with Akito being his little mechanic girl, and before it finishes there at least you get to meet more of the cast like super awesome Yoshitsune and Benkei, and not only the uber awesome but homosexual Aeon Clock. (sorry girls, the good men always seem to be either gay or married) *sigh* I don't even need to explain how much this anime rocks for it's simple 1 season. I can totally rock my ears out to ecchi, comedy, slight romance that is not too cheezy, and exciting, unique, battles that I'll live to remember when I watch that next episode or read that next chapter.
Both are brilliant. The anime should have been longer, of course, but we'll have to wait until another awesome director puts it up again due to Oh!Great sama's awesome power to choose the uber cool directors from the lame, anime-ruining ones. Right? *wink* ^.-

Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka

5.00 (moderate) Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka is an 18+ visual novel developed by Japanese VN Studios feng, and TNK (that real bad dxxksucking entertainment company) has made an anime adaptation of it.
One thing to say before I try to defile this review. Akasaka is a GREAT Visual Novel, I can see how feng took up the effort to make a story quite good. Rather than sticking it close to making it boring, the Visual Novel has some of the best CG scenes (Yutori walking into Nagomi riding you, the reaction, though deja vu, deserves a laugh), and some great storyline and character development. You've got your cute, perfect sister (who deep inside loves you more than just as a brother), your friends Fuyuhiko and Tsukasa (the silly people), and then you got this popular girl that looks a tad unique, Mitsuki, then you got the rich girl that sort of hates you, Yuuhi (Another Deja vu character if you ever watched Toradora), and then this alien girl named Nagomi. The VN deserves some serious love. (8.11 on VNDB!!!) It's not as popular as it's supposed to be.
Anyway, the anime, in a simple word, is shoddy. Course! You got a great voice acting cast, who can't say that this won't end bad, you got lovable characters. However, TNK just HAD to make it bad when it could have been excellent. They just had to. The anime, though art is quite great, the voice acting is candy to listen to, just simply is terrible. Half of the time you will get so sick of Yuuhi trying to stereotype herself in front of Junichi, and Junichi doesn't help either. The main character's supposed to do something, please? At least in the VS, he was comical. This is self egotistical, little boys. Anyway, as it should have deserved a ton of fanservice, it didn't, and TNK has completely defiled a great japanese studio's great work. It is simply deafening to hear this because most people like the anime, and the characters! What's not to like about an alien girl showing up out of nowhere and a busty journalist that throws jokes at you pretty often?
And he loves his sister back?! WHAT?! NOT EVEN!
Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka is an anime that is shoddy. TNK has decided to make it bad, but I'm excitedly waiting for feng's next installment of their VN series, Hoshikaka, and also, I hope they don't sign their works to some bad anime entertainment company like TNK. God, some people.

8.25 (good) Bleach is probably the most hooking, active anime there is in the market today. It is Tite Kubo's LONGEST running manga and anime project. It's great, good-looking, has extremely likable characters in it and the plot-twisters, epic fights, and dramatic sequences can never seem to end.
Of course, the reason it doesn't get all 10 is because the story is hard to pick up. You'll be a little upset at the complete length that it takes to get to the real stuff, but it does add up well to when you're actually encountering an important event within Ichigo Kurosaki's journey throughout his efforts to save soul society and his friends. Throughout the first couple episodes you learn about Ichigo, who his friends are, and his moodiness at awkwardness, weakness, and utter defilation when he first meets Rukia. It's also particularily annoying to have so many characters, but as the series is long, you can't really blame Kubo, can you? What? There are like 14 captains of each small regime in Soul Society? Blech, you won't learn all their names but you'll at least remember Hitsugaya, right? He's awesome.
As always though, Bleach has earned itself a spot in anime and manga esque royalty, and if you haven't picked it up, you should. Meanwhile, for me and other fans of the series, we will continue to watch where it goes.

10.00 (excellent) Simply my most favorite anime EVER. This is one of Arina Takemura's FINEST pieces of manga, and it has transferred very well to anime. All of the characters, lovable. Music, lovable. Simply everything is awesome in this anime. Of course, the art is not top notch, but it still deserves a 10 because of it's beautiful storyline and entrancing sequences of events.

Fullmetal Alchemist

Last Updated: Apr 30, 2010

9.50 (excellent) Full Metal Alchemist is probably an anime title deserving of it's own name. It is the story of a state alchemist, Edward Elric, who is part metal prosthetic limbs and part himself, and he is trying to get this thing called a Philosopher's Stone.
The manga was great. They're making a new adaptation of it. And the great thing about it is...
Irony. Pretty much everything is kinda weird, funny, doesn't make sense but it does make sense. Throughout the anime you'll encounter some epically funny parts and some parts where a good drama makes most of one episode. It's unpredictable, story is good, and the art is quite nice.
I'll keep this short since I don't watch FMA that much but I can tell you, it's hooking. It's got me slowly becoming a fan. As much as I am, wanting to be a mix between everything Shonen, Seinen, and the dramatic Shojo, I think this will soon be one of my favorites.

7.50 (good) And... ya know, I wish I was him too! Jeez, how I do feel so jealous of Junpei getting it so good because of his warm fettered arousal towards girls. *sigh* However, under the circumstances... Manga first please? Because that was excellent. Roll the credits, director.
The manga Strawberry 100% is awesome. You can't get better than Strawberry 100% because that's just too darn sweet. *smiles* so anyway, we got this dude who wants to be a photographer, and he meets this *WAO* busty girl, flowing hair, and the only thing he catches a sight of is the godly pantsu. The manga is basically pantsu. Nothing else. Nothing gets me down better than the morning breakfast of pantsu when I turn on that computer and see the cute little soft petal in between her lips... alright ENOUGH'S ENOUGH AMURE SHUT UP! *pow* So that's basically what makes the manga great. You never, ever, EVER get sick of the pantsu. The more you see the fruitier you get. The manga sticks to its name. It's not just the pantsu, it's the cute faces too. Junpei has fallen in love with 3 girls. The hot director girl understands him and knows his passion, the girl who's popular understands how he feels and feels for him too, and that super spontaneous hottie with the triple Ds just does not give up chasing his common interests, feelings, and everything. It's like... the love quadruple. In the end he picks one, I'm not telling you go read it yourself you non-loving pantsu dude who's never had a slice of [strikeout]bone[/strikeout] life, like the lovable person you are. ^_^ Not saying you all are, but I know you guysssss *points them out* Story unfolds pretty well, you've got a long running story, the way everything connects just makes you shrug with an ultimate love to keep on reading.
Now, anime! We got a lot to say, anime. We demand our strawberries, fresh, pantsu fruity, and uber cute! How dare you cheat us! I wanna see some pantsu! Don't hurt my feelings... Well, anyway, the anime does have a nice fresh of scenty pantsu for all you neet people to look at (yes I said neet) but the only thing that's kinda not making me want to give it a perfect is that even for 24 episodes, making it 12 hours, it feels very short, and it definitely feels like time has been cut off a very decent stretch of freeway across the open land of cute girls, bosoms, and strawberry pantsu. Pantsu Pantsu Pantsu. Get over it. The name derives from Strawberry pantsu anyway. Why didn't they make it shimapantsu? Well, you can go tell your director that. Anyway, the anime just feels a little rushed. In the manga Junpei was given as much time to reconcile his thoughts about each and every single girl and even a guy making out with him so he could get Aya's kiss or what not. Ew, what? Ok, then. So character development wasn't perfect in the anime, and the gears couldn't switch that fast. I don't blame them. It could just be better, that's all.
Strawberry 100% will get you your pantsu, but it might be a chore for some scenes because of how fast it goes. I suggest picking up a manga volume instead. But if you're too lazy to increase your ELA or JLA skills, I don't blame you. Yet I do, unconsciously. 7.5, director, cut!

Last Updated: Jun 09, 2010

7.75 (good) Naruto. Simply the name of this manga and anime series catches eyes. Yes, it's awesome. For some people, it's the ONLY anime or manga he or she has ever read. Naruto has set a pretty far milestone, bypassing almost all other mangas and animes in its class.
Naruto is some ninja dude who wants to be the next Hokage in his little ninja esque village. In him is sealed the quite devilishly strong nine-tailed fox spirit in him. Throughout his ascension in this world of ninjitsu and everything else, he has quite some friends, and quite some enemies. Let's start. He has friends. Quite a cast of friends. Sasuke, Sakura, and his big man Kakashi are the main ones. The rest are too much to count. Then you got this evil guy, Orochimaru, and his little pussyfoot crew, the Akatsuki. Most of the story will revolve around these characters. They're pretty okay for character design, of course they stand out, they're unique, but sometimes, you just get too much of the touchy part at some sequences and some of the long dialogue where nothing much is happening and every so often the characters will stop.
Naruto Shippuden, the other installation of the Naruto anime, has got some good reception. It's quite worthy of watching.
Another thing about Naruto is the awesome J-rock esque OP's you'll get to listen to each season. These are particularily good, and they might be worth collecting if you like them THAT much.
One thing you might be pissed at is the amount of spinoffs that Naruto has. Other than the anime DVDs, compensatory light novels, full soundtracks, CG compilations, and the late anniversary themed Naruto collections, there are Naruto Video Games, Naruto Movies, Naruto plushies, Naruto Figurines, Naruto Trading Cards, probably even Naruto Ramen packets! It's quite hard to start out being a genius about this series, and either it would have been a good thing or bad thing, but more importantly, there is a little fact I'd like to say. Naruto is over the top with overratedness. Yes, it's good. Is it THAT AWESOME? NO!
Naruto gets a 7.75, just above the passing marker, because it was, of course, a good anime and manga. Not the best, but it is worth watching if you're sick of waiting for that certain Japanese entertainment company to start adapting to anime your favorite manga.

School Days

Seen: completely

Last Updated: May 01, 2010

6.25 (average) School Days is a visual novel that revolves around a love triangle including 3 main characters: Makoto, Kotonoha, and Sekai. Its anime adaption is as grotesque and disturbing as the visual novel itself, but hey, if you're into that kinda thing, whatever.

Again, before I say anything about School Days, I want to give a nice, through synopsis about the story of School Days. In the VN, you play as a good-mannered student named Makoto. As you continue to play throughout the story, you'll get in some pretty deep sxxt, and you'll turn from that one good student to the selfish bragging cheater.

On the train to school, Makoto sees this girl, Kotonoha, he doesn't know her name, but those 2 are strongly attracted to each other. As Kotonoha is the good student, big breasts, nonchalant about herself, compassionate, and loving, you are hooked up with her by Sekai, who is the complete opposite, carefree, spontaneous, perverted, yeah yeah. As in your relation with Sekai, it leans more to the side that you are her playdoll.

In the Visual Novel you get to pick who you want to be with. There are several endings depending on what you choose to say, don't lie to Kotonoha, cheat on Sekai, lots of things. There's an ending where you and Kotonoha are the happiest couple ever (My favorite out of this outlandish VN), another one where you like Sekai better than Kotonoha, and also the bad endings. Bad endings are when one of the main characters die. This includes when Sekai kills Makoto for loving Kotonoha, Kotonoha kills Sekai because Sekai cheated, and Kotonoha kills herself when you pick Sekai.

It's pretty shoddy, as sometimes, you get past the point where there is no return from a bad ending. Choose to cheat with Sekai and not tell Kotonoha will get you a bad ending. Choosing to cheat on every girl will get you an ending where you fxxk different poor girls everyday. It all depends on where you go with what you pick. Just be honest, please? Kotonoha is arguably the most lovable character in the game out of this very nice, but deep down, very dark cast.

With such an innocent name as School Days, why didn't they make them NOT kill each other, please? School Days sounds more like a kid's educational game than a "forbidden" drama.

School Days would get a MUCH better score on VNDB (a Good/OK score of 7.11) if they took out some of that disturbing stuff about Sekai killing Makoto and whatever. Maybe even a WAY better revamped story? Please? It would be quite likeable.

Now, for the anime. Let's talk about the anime that TNK made WORSE. Ok, I'm sure the anime received some good reviews for where it went, but I'm a nice otaku interested in real love seinen-esque, please? If you don't agree with me, fine, but I feel that the anime shouldn't have taken the tragic turn, and it should have stayed true to a happy ending. But, then again, they wanted you to hate Makoto, so yeah, must be pretty crazy, right?

Kotonoha is the ONLY person that lives at the end. She's holding Makoto's detatched head in a bag. It's fxxing creepy for an anime, especially one named School Days, again. Titles like Higurashi and Elfen Lied are much better, and though they're gory, they don't stress the comic relief, and rather, they're all about the story. Plus the fact that they don't have a comical name.

Let's start with the character development of School Days. Makoto's a pretty hateable character, seems great in beginning, after Sekai, becomes a weak-spirited fool. For a main character, they actually had to make you hate him. Good change in most animes where you're supposed to love those main characters. Then you got Kotonoha, arguably the most likeable character. She's quite cute to a degree, she's busty, she's sweethearted, what's not to like about her? Then finally we got Sekai, spontaneous, crazy, perverted, carefree. However, she's not so likeable after she confesses to Makoto.

So, Makoto starts dating Kotonoha, things start going well, until guess what, Sekai decides she likes you too, so Makoto decides to do what? Really? Does Makoto have to do that to Kotonoha?! What a mean little bxxthass fxxkin pansy! Don't you ever hurt my precious Kotonoha!

Anyway, story takes drastic turns, Sekai screws up everything, Makoto follows her plan, disagrees with her one time, and he dies, Sekai dies and Kotonoha lives. At least they made Kotonoha live. She's worth living for.

It is all Makoto's fault however. He's the bxxth in this anime and VS.

The great thing about the story! No super long filler, everything is what it is, Makoto and Kotonoha are having some happy times dating each other, they love each other, next turn dreary sxxt happens, so on. The anime is great for where it leads to, but the fact that it changes gears like an overheated point mount World War II machine gun is totally not cool. They indicate early that Sekai also likes Makoto, screwing up everything, but it happens so suddenly, it's not very cool.

The art and the soundtrack were ok. Art overall, deserves a bit credibility, they did want to make cute, of course, but they didn't make it THAT cute, and besides, wouldn't it make you cry a little more if Makoto or Sekai had a moe face on? At least they let you see some great stuff in the eroge with Kotonoha, that's pretty awesome. The soundtrack was decent, didn't get too boring and repetitive under your skin, but maybe a tad creepy having some pleasing song right after looking at a grocery bag with a little oil coming out of it. Ehh...

As shoddy and as malevolent and demeanoring it may be, at least it was likeable by a certain genre of anime-watchers. If you love watching this kinda stuff happen, then go ahead, enjoy School Days, pfft. But if you're a casual anime watcher, you will hate this anime out of the sake that Makoto becomes a pxxxy and Kotonoha takes a severe change of heart thanks to him... School Days DOES NOT cater to all tastes. Chances are, it will not cater to yours.

Seitokai no Ichizon

Last Updated: Jun 21, 2010

9.25 (very good) Ok, so lemme make this clear, I know this is not supposed to be an anime with a certain plot device to it, but it does make up in comparison with the many inside jokes from different animes, eroges, and light novels. Not to mention stereotypes. Never have I seen an anime this unique in it's one-of-a-kind play. Of course, given that, Studio DEEN is not a great studio known for it's art. This is why it didn't rank too high on my scale, because most of the models, though their eyes are opaque and just cute-sy moesque, some of the characters look like they're using the same models, but hey, it's art. It only plays such a big role.
Anyway, Seitokai no Ichizon is an anime that is based off of rough inline jokes. If you're an eroge and galge enthusiast like me, stream imageboards occasionally, and also have played an eroge or dating sim or galge completely through with all the characters, or you know some of the popular animes, you'll know this. Of course, you might not get the jokes in the beginning but this isn't really an anime you can pick up from the start and start getting some head in. It, however, is addicting to watch and once you watch it you'll want to watch what the parodied if you haven't already. Character dev, however, was pretty unique, and I'll get to that later.
So, yeah, these characters are really types that you've seen before, except they give a new vamp to how Key-kun interacts with them and interprets their feelings, motives, and desires in the end of every episode, which is kind of funny. Key-kun, especially, has a thing going on with all of the girls in the student council, but he's particularily (and I must say unconsciously) targeting Minatsu (get married, tsuntsun deredere!! Lovey Dovey~) and also Kurimu (who is really sweet actually).
Of course, episode 12 does leave a cliffhanger for the next season to come (and I do hope there is another season), where you learn about Key-kun's lessons he's learned and how he's met all of these girls before in different seasons. Kurimu helps him learn that the main character always tries to make everyone happy (and he does), Chizuru helps him to realize his overwhelming compassion for others, Minatsu tells him that he and her can't be lazy and must work hard to achieve what they really want, and Mafuyu helps him to learn what strength really is.
All in all, I'm satisfied with this anime. However, if you're not looking for solid comedy from a parody theme, this might not be for you, but I suggest you give it a watch because it is a fine stretch of relaxation.

10.00 (excellent) You might remember this one. It's awesome. Just 1 word. That is it! Noizi Ito, the one that drew your fantasies of Flyable Heart and girls getting blushed up in the front, and the rear, before that, he's done illustrations for this. So you know it's good when you know it has his name on it, and another person's name on it who I forgot it was. Anyway, yes artwork's good, in both manga and anime. Both Manga and Anime are around the same, so I'll say.
ART is EXCELLENTE. If I were to just promote any sort of active something something whatever, I would choose Shakugan No Shana. Comon now, the headers for Minitokyo are Shakugan No Shana. Beat that, you moniker monkies. This anime and manga is awesome. The fights are great, the characters are awesome (and when have you ever met such a group of unique characters with different moves?!), the storytelling is awesome, you know, you can't go wrong with this series. Going wrong with this is like saying you hate hot, sexy, voluptuous, long-haired katana wielding, magical, tsuntsunderedere awesome girls. Which happens to fit the term of the female main character. Shana. And her little lover boy who's the cool guy who will do anything to save Shana even though he is a puny little match called a flame and he is in love with his Flame Haze, Yuji. Hehe. You've also got this over-motherly maid, some other flames who carry the same power, some other crazy flame hazer who likes to feed herself alcohol and listen to a book filled with stupid mindblowing readings, Alastor, and you know, just some other good stuff. It's very touching to see this anime and manga and light novel because, well... it's just awesome *repeats himself* awesome awesome awesome awesome okigiveupnowcanihaveacookie?
Oh yes, and the OP is just mindblowing. Out of all the OP's I ever watched I fell in love with the OP for Shakugan No Shana. It's Hishoku No Sora - Kawada Mami. GO! GO SEARCH IT RIGHT NOW! It's an AWESOME SONG! You can't miss it, or you will die and have no friends and nobody will miss you. Not really. I was just messing with you, I'm sorry for upsetting you, you want a hug? Shugo Chara

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Apr 28, 2010

8.75 (very good) Shugo Chara is an anime and manga about this girl named Amu, who used to be kinda contempt with herself, being alone until she learns that deep inside, she really is insecure. She gets admitted into this kind of group of guardians, earning her place as the "joker" because she has more than 1 guardian character.
Throughout the 1st season of this anime, you'll learn about the problems she has making friends at school, her feelings of alienation sometimes, and the "character" that she really wants to be. The other characters in this group of guardians help her try to find who she truly is, and comfort her during her periods of doubt. This includes the "king" Tadase, and "queen" Nadeshiko whom Amu is both very close to.
Character development has been good for this anime and manga. Amu's not your typical magical teen in school. In fact, she's not even close to being a teen yet! Throughout the story, though it is magical, you will find situations where you can connect with Amu about that certain experience you had before. It also enlightens the mood by having some genuine, non-cliche humor in it. (But Nadeshiko's soooo pretty! Wait...)
After you learn about who Amu's character truly is, you'll find out why's she's a guardian and what she's meant to do. To help those like her. This includes Utau (the singer) and Ikuto (cat-ears dude).
Art is good. It's not especially off the charts but the way it is drawn does fit the mood. Especially in the humorous scenes.
Anyway, Shugo Chara is an anime worth watching all through the way. It's won my love and respect, and I anticipate that the next season or spinoff will be well received. Keep your eyes peeled.

To-LOVE-Ru

Last Updated: Apr 30, 2010

7.75 (good) To-LOVE-Ru is a manga currently being drawn by Kentaro Yabuki, creator of black cat, and its Anime adaptation, simply, though, doesn't seem to stand up in the long run.
Everything you expect to find in the long, fruit-filled manga, most of it is not there in the anime, and it's filled with tons of filler because the director at the studios wanted to keep some stuff longer than they're supposed to be. Of course, To-LOVE-ru is an awesome manga, filled with some of the fruitiest and awkward moments and also a lot of kawaii art.
The anime, in the long run, it's ok. It does represent the story as close as it does, but more or less you'll see various characters pop up here and there for a comical return into Rito's life. All of the characters are unique, the story is unique, and the way they put this together is pretty nice after you think of it for a while.
If it were as good as it was, and XEBEC makes another season of it, then it shouldn't been so short. Animes deserve to be longer, as much as you want the viewers to know that you're putting an effort in. I just hope they return with another season installment, and hopefully they put a lot more effort and focus, and then it will truly get the 10 stars it deserves and the manga gets.

9.75 (excellent) It was EXCELLENT. Featuring some of my favorite seiyus and devices that everyone now understands the meaning of the word tsundere. Taiga, you rock. Ryuji, you're awesome.
Toradora is about trying to win your friend's best friend and your friend winning your best friend and you guys are just trying to do your best to woo your friend's best friend over so you can meet and your friend can meet your best friend. Of course, the anime is only 25 episodes, but the ending doesn't leave a cliffhanger so it's not much of a big deal to wish that there is another season. After all, if you watched episode 25, you'll know that there might not be another season, but instead, the studio's probably going to move on to another well written light novel to adapt it.
Art is pretty good, it won't bore the heck out of you, and the story and the comedy is probably what makes this anime stand out the most. Baseball, Baseball, Baseball. Watch the anime for yourself, you'll like it.
The OP, again, like I say, is upbeat and just hooking. It's sung by the seiyus that star in Toradora, and they did a good job making these songs. I love listening to it.
Not much to say, but like, this is a must watch for those into comedy and tsundere type animes. If you haven't already watched it, you should give it a hit.

10.00 (excellent) *sigh* I'm so tired... nyaaaack. The Personal Rating says it all.... Everyone can tell you it's an awesome manga, awesome anime... *sleepy*
It's self explanatory. The score is right there... 10/10. What's wrong with it? Nothing... It's just that CLAMP is a group of excellent artists... And even though the story might be a tad too depressive, it all makes up for it with the great storyline it has.... now when are you given the ultimate quest to go find the memories of your beloved? It's like looking through a mirror that doesn't reflect... It's just so beautiful... beautiful...
*rendered dead because of how good Tsubasa's got it* Just... just say it's awesome... and then let's be done with it...
